ELECTRONICS RESEARCH
AND PRODUCTION
---Out of Stock---
We are undergoing engineering updates, and doing some artificial intelligence research ( . ). Within a year or so we will once again be available for repairs or accessories, or to re-sell used equipment; in support of our thousands of past customers. New instruments may be available within 2 or 3 years.
The instruments shown may have a new appearance... performance and prices would be similar... We are considering combining the functions into a single instrument, which would be less expensive than the combined listed prices.
If you wish to go on our waiting list, simply tell us which instrument(s) you are interested in... do not send any payment... we will contact you before the next production cycle, to see if you are still interested.
Thank-You for your interest in Biofeedback.

Brainwave
EEG 3 Features — $534 Complete currently out of stock
Precision Brainwave Detection — adjustable corners can be set for accurate detection of alpha, theta, or virtually any desired range of brainwaves from 1 to 30 Hz — allows for gradually lowering the high corner from beta to alpha — is stable enough for a range setting of 9.9 to 10.1 Hz
Complete Rejection — the system does not respond to brainwaves outside of the selected range

frequency
delta | theta | alpha
| beta
Dominant Feedback — training for a given range automatically requires that simultaneous brainwave components outside the selected range be weaker than those being detected
Artifact Blanking — noise from movement generally interrupts feedback, producing little or no false feedback
Three Types of Audio Feedback Cues — (tone, pink noise and patter) — combinable in any proportions — improves learning by reducing the boredom that can result from attending to a single mode for prolonged periods
Visual Feedback Array — instantly responds to increasing strength of brainwaves within the selected range — shows the other dominant moments to be above or below the selected range
Sensitivity Control — an adjustable threshold for gradually raising the strength of brainwaves required for feedback
Built-In Simulator — an artificial source of brainwaves — can be set to demonstrate the feedback you would get from alpha rhythms of a given strength — or can be rapidly manipulated to demonstrate brainwave dynamics
Headphone Jack — for stereo headset (not included)
— silences the built-in speaker
Alpha Detector Features — A complete brainwave biofeedback system -- $295 currently out of stock
A Simplified, Minimum-Cost Version of the EEG 3
Precision Detection — with selection of fixed ranges for alpha, theta, or alpha plus lower beta (helpful for getting started if alpha is scarce)
Complete Rejection, Dominant Feedback, and Artifact Blanking, as in the EEG 3
FM Tone Feedback — (as in the EEG 3) pitch of tone warbles when brainwaves are detected within the selected range; more deeply and loudly with stronger brainwaves (instant mode) — or the pitch drops smoothly with increasing short-term percent-time (smoothed mode)
Visual Feedback Indicator — blinks more brightly with stronger detected brainwaves (instant mode) — or glows more brightly with improving short-term percent-time (smoothed mode)
Sensitivity Control, Built-in Speaker & Headphone
Jack — as in EEG 3
EEG PROGRESS INDICATOR $139 4 units in stock
PI 1 Features —
— provides data for plotting progress in EEG records
— combines percent-time and average strength of brainwaves during percent-time into a single "relative relaxation" figure
— adjustable period for data gathering, from 3 to 15 minutes
— shows figure at end of period, and holds it until reset
— for use with EEG 3 or Alpha Detector (Alpha Detector
requires %-time output ... add $10)
